EMPTY RIVER at the Outside The Lines exhibition

EMPTY RIVER at the Outside The Lines exhibition

I was recently impacted by images of the drought which threatens the Mississippi River to almost disappear, inspiring this abstract painting symbolizing the emptiness of the river through the color black. As I finished the painting a couple months ago, I was invited to participate in the Outside The Lines exhibition at the Ignatian Center for the Arts, Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, Miami, presenting a timely opportunity to exhibit my painting. Opening reception will be held on Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 7:30 PM, presenting the work of artists from across South Florida. In another blog I'll be showing images of the exhibition, so stay tuned.
